Remember Me?

I don't. Sorry I haven't updated in roughly a month. October has been so hectic because of schoolwork, friends, volunteering, and then home life. Rediculosity. I should be cleaning my room, but instead I am looking at a Polyvore, and switching inbetween listening to The World Should Revolve Around Me by Little Jackie, I'm Good, I'm Gone by Lykke Li, and the HSM3 Soundtrack. I know, I know! For my friend's 14th birthday party, we saw HSM3, then went to a Halloween dance, but none of us dressed up. My birthday is in 15 days, any suggestions for a party? Anyways, now that I'm into the swing of things, I should be blogging/posting more often.
I have to finish cleaning my room so I can go to homecoming tomorrow (I still haven't figured out what I'm going to wear! Have any ideas?).

Hello Dearest Darlings

Hello dearest darlings! So as I write this, my mother is downstairs putting on the ugliest lampshades I’ve ever seen. Actually, I’m over-exaggerating just a bit. But I really don’t like them. They’re tan and very bland, unlike the ones we had before, which were sage green, and had beading at the bottom. The problem which the green lampshades: “They were too big.” WHO CARES? Not me. The new lampshades look awkward to me, like they don’t belong there, NOR do they want to be there. It irks me. A lot. I don’t want you to waste a few minutes of your life by reading about how much I hate those mother chuckin’ lampshades, so I’ll stop and tell you about how I’m feeling. I can’t wait for Christmas; it’s such a happy time of year for me, except the part where all the teachers pile on work. I just love my family’s traditions, and then New Years Eve is always nice too. My birthday (November 17th) is coming up, and I have no clue about what I want to do.  My friend just had a bowling party at the end of august, and my other friend will probably make us go to the movies and see HSM3. I actually want to see it, either to make fun of all the corny cheesy cliché things they do and say, or to act like I love my friend enough to go see such a movie with her. Hmm, what a hard decision. I do know that for my birthday I’m getting a macbook and iTunes cards, which I NEED. I have at least $144 dollars worth of stuff in there, but I have a clue of what 15 songs I’ll buy or a season of The Office, Dirty Sexy Money or 30 Rock instead.

 15 songs I shall buy:

·Love Lockdown - Kanye West
·I’m good, I’m gone - Lyyke Li (or maybe I’ll buy her whole CD)
·Black Mags - Cool Kids
·Let It Rock – Kevin Rudolf & Lil Wayne
·Hot N Cold – Katy Perry
·Little Bit – Lykke Li
·Breaking Up – Lykke Li
·Got Money – Lil Wayne and T-Pain
·Disturbia - Rihanna
·So What - P!nk
·Check Yes Juliet – We The Kings
·Lolli Lolli (Pop That Body) – Three 6 Mafia
·Better In Time – Leona Lewis
·The Youth – MGMT
·Electric Feel – MGMT

I’ve also decided that I really like my high school; it’s a great place. Aside from the fact that if we lose to our rivals, there is a freshman day, and on any Friday the 13ths, it’s also a freshman day, I’m happy with my decision. The school is huge, and it’s easy to get lost in. Out of the 9 staircases, only 4 go up to the 4th floor. But, I do love it even though I’ve only been there for about a month. I got a NYLON shirt in the mail, nothing special, just a plain white t-shirt and in hot pink letters, it says NYLON. Yep. I think this is one of the longest posts I’ve done, and I’m pretty proud of myself for it. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with lists, like a few of my favorite things, so I’ll share some.

These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things:
· Macbooks
· Laundry chutes

I'm A Chronic Mess.

The word's on the streets and it's on the news. I'm not gonna teach him how to dance with you. He's got two left feet and he bites my moves. I'm not gonna teach him how to dance with you. - I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You by Black Kids.

So as of September 3rd, 2008, I am officially a freshman. Ehh. So far the year has been ok, but I'm already annoyed with some of the teachers. The school in itself is fun, but I only have classes with a few of my friends.

What I Take:
  • Spanish 1B
  • Fundamentals Of Science/Art History/P.E./Health
  • English I
  • Advanced Algebra
  • World History
  • Biology

^^Sounds like a party, don't you think?

Otherwise, life's been good. I just got a new camera yesterday, and it's gorgeous. A red Kodak M1073 IS. And I went school shopping, and got cute shoes.

That;s about it for now, lovely readers. But before I go, I shall leave you with my favorite quote of the day/week:

"I never fall apart because I never fall togther." - Andy Warhol

The Lazy Bloggers Post Generator

Darling I just climbed out from under my rock and realised I have not updated this since the 21st... You would not believe how heavy that rock really is. I prostrate myself in sorrow and beg thy forgiveness..I am overwhelmed with waiting for a fine young gentleman to propose, personal projects, just generally being a coach to the local soccer team, my day lasts forever from when the nightclubs close to well after sun-down. I am beyond drunk most of the time. life happens.I go, my lords and ladies; just I will make more of an effort to blog more often. Promise! This is for my ever faithful, devoted public...

The Olympics

The Olympics have been on my mind the most lately. Out of my head goes cleaning, friends, and everything of some matter(what?), and the Olympics go in. The opening ceremony in itself was wonderful. Michael Phelps (swimmer, USA) is so hot. The relay last night was amazing. Before it started, the French were shown holding hands. At the bottom of the screen, it said "We're going to scream the Americans. That's what we came here for. The relay started, Phelps first, Webster-Gale second, Jones third, and Lezak pulled up the rear. We beat France by 12 hundreths of a second. Amazing, right? Yes, it was.

Read about it here: http://www.nbcolympics.com/swimming/news/newsid=188791.html#lezak+storms+back+u+s+wins+relay

GO USA!

Honestly, I've never been so excited for the Olympics.

What do you think of them?

Regret

So this topic was stolen from paul291, of Thoughts (http://mythoughtsrandomized.blogspot.com/). Regret. I don't understand it, but I do. Why waste time saying you regret something, if you can't change it? The past is the past, there's nothing we can do about it. If we could, I think everybody would want to change it.

Then, I wonder, why regret? Do you regret something just because of the outcome, or do you honestly wish you hadnt done it? If you do regret something because of the outcome, I don't think you should, because not doing whatever you did could have drastically changed the events of history.

I guess everything happens for a reason.

And then there's another topic that roams my mind, which would happen to be the truth/honesty. I once heard that we lie best when we lie to ourselves. That, I think is true. In order to convince others that you are telling the truth, you need to believe it yourself. And truth. "I didn't tell you the truth because you can't handle the truth." What's truth? is it what you believe, or is it what actually happened. In a physical thought, the thruth is what actually happened. But in an emotional thought, how can you tell what's the truth?

Sorry, these past two days I've been feeling slightly philosophical, and making no sense.
